Trinchero Napa Valley Opens New Tasting Room

Trinchero Napa Valley has announced the official opening of its newly- designed tasting room to the public. The only namesake brand within the leading wine and spirits company, Trinchero Family Estates, this re-developed and reimagined space evokes the best that Napa Valley has to offer.

The tasting room marks the third and final phase of the Trinchero Napa Valley estate, which sits on 22 acres of expansive vineyards. The 5,000 square foot space includes private and public tasting areas, as well as an outdoor veranda and fire pit for guests to enjoy. While the look and feel is similar to the neighboring Hospitality and Culinary Center, the new tasting room showcases a richly detailed and striking style, featuring leather and brass accents that represent the newer generations of the Trinchero family.

San-Francisco based firm, BAR Architects, partnered with the Trinchero family on the development of the property’s buildings, including the historical caves, Hospitality and Culinary Center and ending with the completion of the tasting room. Renowned local designer, Erin Martin of Erin Martin Design, created the unique interior décor, offering luxury, timelessness and a singular approach to the visitor experience. Signature design details throughout the estate reference the family’s voyage from their native Italy through Ellis Island, as well as years spent in New York City, from family images and artifacts on display.

“The new tasting room symbolizes the completion of a journey that began decades ago – when our family moved to Napa Valley to fulfill the dream of making great wine,” explains Bob Torres, third generation family member and company’s Principal, Vice-Chairman and Director. “68 years later, following a tremendous amount of hard work, innovation and commitment, that dream has grown to be the successful business it is today. We look forward to guests visiting the property and enjoying everything Trinchero Napa Valley has to offer and what we’ve always been known for: quality wines and genuine hospitality.”

Launched in 2007, Trinchero Napa Valley pays tribute to the legacy of founders, Mario and Mary Trinchero, who settled in the Napa Valley in 1948 and were instrumental in putting Napa Valley on the map as a premium wine region. The winery embodies the rich history of the family and their leadership in the community. Today, winemaker Mario Monticelli crafts the estate wines at the state-of-the-art facility, all of which offer classic expressions of the diverse Napa Valley varietals and terroir. Trinchero Napa Valley wines are limited production and sourced exclusively from the over 200 acres of estate vineyards spanning across premiere appellations including Atlas Peak, Mount Veeder and St. Helena.

The winery is open daily between 10am and 5pm for tastings. Walk-in guests will be able to choose from an assortment of tasting flights featuring small-production, single-vineyard offerings. Private tasting experiences and tours, including a barrel tasting in the historical wine caves, are available by appointment. For more tasting room offerings, go to trincheronapavalley.com/visit-us.
