Our history dates back three generations to when the Trinchero family left their home in New York to pursue the American dream in California’s nascent wine industry. Today, we’re proud to be the brand that has introduced more Americans to wine on the table than any other, and our philosophy remains the same: “A great product for a fair price.”
Sutter Home has a rich history of giving wine lovers the delicious products they want, starting with the creation of the original White Zinfandel in the 1970s. Today, with more than 20 crowd-pleasing varietal types to choose from, there is a Sutter Home wine for everyone from traditional types like Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to more casual types like Moscato and Sangria.
For more than 25 years, Sutter Home has delivered industry-leading marketing programs including the iconic Build a Better Burger recipe contest, Live in the Vineyard and Home for the Holidays. And, through our annual Sutter Home for Hope campaign, we’ve been supporting the fight against breast cancer for more than 15 years.
